Hartmann House is an award-winning branding and communications company run by husband and wife team of Sascha and Tessa Hartmann CBE. They have crafted their trade with over 24 years working together in the dynamic world of fashion, lifestyle and entertainment communications.
This duo have an incredible entrepreneurial spirit with a fierce go-getting attitude. Which is perhaps why after having set up the Scottish Fashion Awards some 13 years ago, Tessa was honoured in HM The Queen's 90th Birthday Honours list with a CBE for her contribution to fashion and textiles in 2016. Having worked tirelessly promoting and nurturing new fashion talent from Scotland she was also recognised by Glasgow Caledonian University who awarded her an Honorary Doctorate for her contribution to the Scottish Fashion Industry.
Over the years Tessa has been included in The Sunday Herald's 'Scotland's Most Influential Women' feature, 'Evening Times Most Influential People in Glasgow' and The Herald's 'Scotland's Top Power Players' to name but a few and her network of celebrity contacts holds no bounds.
Tessa was an avid campaigner and special advisor to the 'Better Together' campaign during the Scottish referendum and appeared on Sky News, Newsnight & Question Time. In her capacity as an authority on brand management she is also a regular commentator on broadcast radio. She has also contributed to many broadsheets and tabloids in her capacity as brand & fashion expert, served as Fashion Editor at Large for The Herald and wrote for The Sunday Times Scotland as a political commentator.
In 2018 Tessa was nominated in the Institute of Director's Chairman's Award for Excellence in Leadership 2018 in Jersey and she has delivered an abundance of speeches on subject matters such as 'Fashion Tourism & Increasing Retail Spend' to 'Be Bold for Change - Equality in the workplace'.
As the Creative Director of the business, Sascha art directs, produces and composes music and also directed an animated feature which was co-produced by Sir Sean Connery. Multi-lingual with German / Italian origins, Sascha holds a degree in clinical neuropsychology from the University of Zurich.
Today their client base ranges from brand consultancy for corporations and high profile industrialists, to creative campaigns for the fashion and entertainment world, managed from their head office in Jersey.
Being parents to 4 children and married for 24 years, they count themselves fortunate to do what they love with Hartmann House. Being based in Jersey, Channel Islands, they are active members of the local community and contribute to many local cause-related activities. They are digital adventurers, instigators, fire starters and co-conspirators. They are hungry, relentless and always enthusiastic.
